Structural Glazing
Structural Glazing as it is known today is a very
fast catching concept which Architects prefer
as no aluminium sections are visible from the
exterior and the glass or infill material is primarily
bonded to the aluminium frames by structural
silicone sealants.
It is our intention to execute structurally glazed
works with all the design and engineering in
India, manufacture and source materials in India;
including installation carried out by Magus under
effective site management and supervision to
ensure that quality procedures and documenta-
tion is adhered.
Aluminium Cladding
Aluminium Sheet and Aluminium Composite
Cladding has recently found tremendous scope
in today's architecture due to constant need
to decrease the dead loads by solid claddings
like granite etc. Magus has risen to this need by
carrying out design, manufacture – supply, and
erection – fixation of the Aluminium Compos-
ite Panel cladding, complete with all necessary
sub-structures, anchors, hardware and fittings
to provide a total installation, fully in conformity
with the requirements and intent of the drawings
and specification of the project.
The cladding is based on an Open Jointed System
with provision for natural ventilation of the space
between the cladding panels & the structure wall.
These joints are designed so as to drain the rain
water to the bottom of the cladding. All fixing
and joint details are designed to provide for the
expected thermal expansion and contraction to
accommodate structural movement.
Some advantages of aluminium cladding…
High quality product
Extraordinary flatness, no oil-canning or ripples
Wide range of surface finishes anodised or stove
lacquered
Superb formability
Wide range of fixing and jointing techniques
Easy to process
Light weight – easy to handle in the workshop &
on site
Low maintenance
Low Dead weight as compared to Natural Stone
finishes.
